Responsibilities

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

  • Coordinate patient care activities and schedules across various departments.
  • Receive high volume of phone calls and emails and be able to prioritize and real-time patient interaction.
  • Register patients and obtain all necessary demographic information and accurately input into electronic medical records (EMR) system
  • Communicate effectively with patients regarding follow-ups, referrals and prescription renewal requests.
  • Assist in managing pre-authorization and insurance forms for patients.
  • Educate patients about minor procedures, and follow-up requirements.
  • Act as a point of contact for patient questions or concerns, resolving issues promptly or directing them to appropriate personnel.
  • Support providers by ensuring efficient workflow and proper documentation.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to promote patient -centered care.

ESSENTIAL FOR SUCCESS IN THIS ROLE:

  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication
  • Experience in customer service, retail skincare sales or an equivalent service oriented role
  • Basic computer skills
  • Ability to multi-task and work well as part of a team in a fast-paced clinical environment
