We are seeking an experienced Cost Accountant to join our innovative and forward-thinking team. This key role involves managing and analysing financial data to drive cost efficiency, enhance operational decision-making, and ensure accurate financial reporting.

RELEVANT EXPERIENCE

  • Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
  • 2-3 years experience in cost accounting within a manufacturing firm
  • Self-motivated
  • Experience in ERP System is desirable

Responsibilities
  • Develop, monitor, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to benchmark performance and influence decision-making around cost efficiency and operational improvements.
  • Lead monthly operational reporting, including variance analysis, and provide insightful presentations to senior leadership.
  • Calculating standard costing of products.
  • Preparing journal entries in relation to manufacturing accounting.
  • Margin variance analysis and investigating significant variances.
  • Finance lead on process improvement projects in relation to costing.
  • Business partnering with various business functions.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting reporting.
  • Support the preparation of management accounts.
  • Collaborating with audit teams and providing necessary documentation for internal and external audits.
