JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Cost Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and analyzing costs associated with our products and services, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, and providing insights that support strategic decision-making. This role requires a strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and cost management practices.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA or equivalent certification is a plus.
  • Proven experience in cost accounting or related field within public accounting or corporate accounting environments.
  • Strong knowledge of financial concepts including double entry bookkeeping, technical accounting, and financial analysis.
  • Proficiency in financial report writing and interpretation; ability to communicate complex financial information clearly.
  • Familiarity with budgeting processes and cash flow management techniques.
  • Experience with various accounting software packages (e.g., SAP, QuickBooks, Sage) is essential; knowledge of ERP systems is preferred.
  • Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail; ability to identify trends and variances in financial data.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively under tight deadlines.

  • Maintain general ledger accounting accuracy through diligent account reconciliation.
