HORIBA Instruments Incorporated is looking for the ideal individual to join our team as Cost Accountant at our corporate headquarters in Irvine, CA.

Key Qualifications and Competencies include:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
  • 5+ years of job-related work experience.
  • Expertise in SAP FICO and financial close processes.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTable, SUMIF) and financial reporting tools.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Knowledge of SAP is a plus.
  • Professionalism: Approaches others tactfully, reacts well under pressure, accepts responsibility, and follows through on commitments.
  • Ethics: Treats others with respect, keeps commitments, inspires trust, and works with integrity.
  • Communication: Speaks persuasively, listens actively, responds well to questions, and participates effectively in meetings

  • Perform various ad hoc financial reports and analyses as needed.
  • Responsibly manage customer issues, responding promptly and honoring commitments.
  • Adapt to unexpected changes in situations or circumstances.
