SUMMARY:

The Cost Accountant plays a critical role in supporting the financial operations of the International Cooling Tower (ICT), including multiple entities in Canada and the United States. Based in Edmonton, this position is responsible for cash receipt processing across companies, job costing, job set-up in the enterprise financial system (eCMS), and Work in Progress (WIP) reporting. This is a cross-border, multi-currency role with a strong focus on accuracy, compliance, and operational support.
This role is ideal for a detail-oriented accounting professional with accounts receivable experience who is looking to grow into project accounting.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 3+ years of experience in accounting, preferably with a focus on accounts receivable or job costing
• Experience working in a multi-company, multi-currency environment is an asset
• Knowledge of eCMS or similar enterprise construction accounting software is a strong advantage
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• Detail-oriented, organized, and committed to accuracy
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
