I’m working with a leading international manufacturer that is looking to appoint a Management Accountant to join their finance team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified or part-qualified accountant with strong costing and manufacturing experience to step into a broad, business-facing role.

Reporting into the Senior Finance Business Partner, you’ll play a key part in supporting decision-making across operations, providing accurate management information, and driving improvements in finance processes. You’ll get involved in:

• Preparation of monthly management accounts to strict deadlines
• Business partnering with operations teams, providing insight and analysis on performance
• Weekly/monthly management reporting, variance analysis and commentary
• Raw material and WIP reconciliations, ensuring data integrity in the ERP system
• Analysing purchase price and material variances, providing reports to Finance and Operations
• Producing accurate operational variance forecasts (material usage & purchase price)
• Investigating stock movements and spend variances vs. budget/forecast
• Supporting audits, forecasts, and budgeting processes
• Ad-hoc projects, including process improvement and costing scenarios
