KBW Financial Staffing & Recruiting has partnered with a large manufacturer in their search for a Cost Accountant. They are an established company with a strong market presence and opportunities for advancement.

The responsibilities for the Cost Accountant include:

• Assessing product specs for cost evaluation
• Overhead, material and labor tracking and reporting
• Variance analysis to determine key drivers
• Inventory count and evaluation
• CAPEX and ROI evaluation
• Maintain adherence to SOX controls
• Cost forecasting and budgeting
• Assist with audit requests

Requirements for the Cost Accountant include:

• Bachelors in accounting, finance or business
• More than 3 years cost accounting experience
• Strong, large scale ERP systems skills
