JOB PURPOSE This role requires associates to use their professional knowledge to accurately develop the cost per unit of current models, which impacts the sales price for that model. This role usually involves working with department management and presenting information to accounting management. This is an entry-level role that is supervised and does not have significant discretion in autonomous decision-making. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES • Performing monthly closing responsibilities related to sales and materials, and presenting results to management. • Performing sales and materials analysis for six budget events each year and presenting results to management. • Use analytical skills and professional accounting knowledge to create sales breakdowns and profit analysis with some supervision • Preparing parts and unit pricing quotes with some supervision • Performing Analysis of material usage and sales price variances with some supervision. QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, & SKILLS Minimum Educational Qualifications Bachelor’s degree with a major in accounting or finance, OR an associate's degree with a minimum of 2 years of experience in an accounting-related job. Minimum Experience 0-2 years with a bachelor's degree, 2 years minimum with an associate's degree Other Job-Specific Skills Basic Accounting principles- GAAP/IFRS and Cost accounting background. General understanding of accounting functions, terminology, and ability to apply accounting concepts. Strong analytical, problem-solving, presentation, and organizational skills. Strong Microsoft product skills (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) SAP Knowledge and skills WORKING CONDITIONS On-site 80%, Remote 20% 2-5 hours of OT/week Some travel What differentiates Honda and make us an employer of choice?
