McGregor Group is seeking an experienced Cost Accountant to join our growing team. This is an office-based role designed to suit someone balancing professional responsibilities with family commitments, offering family-friendly working hours.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee cost accounting processes, ensuring accurate reporting and analysis.
  • Support financial planning and control of business costs.
  • Assist with general administration, including communicating with clients and suppliers (not the role’s primary focus).
  • Provide financial insight as the company continues its expansion into European markets.

Candidate Requirements

  • Ideally fully or part-qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent).
  • Previous cost accounting experience.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
  • Good communication skills with the ability to support wider business operations.
