We are looking to hire a Cost Accountant/Project Manager with excellent organizational and analytical skills. Our Cost Accountant should be detailed oriented, knowledgeable with numbers, have strong problem-solving skills, work comfortably under pressure, deliver on tight deadlines and enjoy costing and project related work.
This individual should be confident, professional, and meticulous with a keen interest in the cost-efficient operations of the organization. Top candidates will have outstanding presentation of all data skills, with the ability to work on their own initiative and as part of a team.

Cost Accountant/Project Manager

• Maintain the accounting system, documents, and records for one of our companies by working closely with sales to ensure process orders, work with shipping to ensure on-time delivery and keep accounting records.
• Analyze and report cost savings/improvement opportunities.
• Project requests from CFO, prepare and analyze data, prepare in manner that is easy for CFO to review.
• Analyze any changes in goods or services provided to determine what effect it has on the cost.
• Work with CFO on price adjustments and assist with implementation when necessary.
• Analyze manufacturing costs and prepare regular reports comparing standard costs to actual production costs.
• Provide management with reports that specify and compare factors that affect prices and profitability of products or services. Work with sales.
• Conduct physical inventories and monitor the cycle count program.

Cost Accountants Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field (essential).
• 2 years of Cost Accounting work experience (essential).
• Sound understanding of accounting principles.
• Solid cost systems background.
• Analytical thinker with strong conceptual and problem-solving skills.
• Meticulous attention to detail with superb organizational skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
