Job Purpose: To manage cost control, budgeting, and financial analysis, ensuring accurate tracking and optimization of project and manpower deployment costs. The role supports strategic financial planning by analyzing cost trends, profitability, and efficiency metrics.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Develop and implement cost accounting systems tailored to manpower supply/project-based operations.
- Analyze project-wise and client-wise costing to ensure profitability across contracts.
- Monitor and track direct and indirect costs (wages, transportation, accommodation, etc.) associated with manpower deployment.
- Prepare cost variance reports and investigate deviations from planned budgets.
- Coordinate with HR and operations to analyze payroll costs, overtime trends, and manpower utilization.
- Lead the budgeting process, prepare forecasts, and monitor budget compliance.
- Evaluate existing cost structures and recommend improvements for cost efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with IFRS, UAE VAT, and other regulatory reporting standards.
Job Specification (Qualifications, Skills, Experience):
- Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) from ICAI or Cost Accountant from ICWAI or equivalent.
- 1–2 years of post-qualification experience in cost accounting, preferably in manpower supply, contracting, or project-based industries.
- Solid understanding of cost accounting principles, job costing, and financial analysis.
- Experience with ERP systems or accounting platforms (e.g., Oracle, SAP, Tally Prime). Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including pivot tables, formulas, and modeling).
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: AED5,000.00 - AED6,000.00 per month
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Sharjah: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
