Description
Tagaddod is seeking a knowledgeable and detail-oriented Cost Accountant to join our finance team. The Cost Accountant will focus on analyzing costs and preparing detailed reports to aid in strategic decision-making and enhance financial performance across our operations. This role is critical for ensuring accurate costing, budgeting, and analysis of our waste management initiatives. Responsibilities Analyze costs and prepare cost reports for managerial decision-making. Evaluate product costs, including raw materials, labor, and overhead expenses. Assist in preparing and monitoring budgets and forecasts. Conduct variance analysis and provide insights to improve profitability. Support month-end close processes by providing cost data and analysis. Collaborate with operations to identify cost-saving opportunities and track efficiency. Maintain accurate cost accounting records and documentation. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. 2-4 years of experience as a Cost Accountant or in a similar role. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Understanding of cost accounting principles and practices. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
