JOB DESCRIPTION

As a Cost Accountant, you will leverage your expertise in standard costing and ERP systems to ensure accurate product costing and inventory valuation. By performing in-depth variance analysis and supporting budgeting and forecasting efforts, you will provide critical insights for operations and strategic decision making. Not only is this role great for someone who has experience to further leverage operations forward, but someone that wants to grow their experience in cost can further develop and expand in this role as well.

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance, required
• 2 + years’ experience in job cost and inventory management
• Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, vlookups etc)
• Audit experience, highly preferred

• Analyze variances including cost, material usage and overhead variances
• Prepare accurate financial reports that compare budget to forecast to actual
• Assist with monthly financial closing tasks and processes
• Other day-to-day accounting procedures
