EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE

• A Bachelor’s degree (B. A. or B.S.) in Accounting or related field and minimum Six years related accounting experience (preferably in Food & Beverages Industries )
• Expert in Bill of Materials and Routings (Bill of Operations)
• Knowledgeable in all areas of General Accounting
• Experience with ERP systems – Omega & Microsoft Dynamics 365 preferred
• Proficient with Microsoft tools, especially Excel.

MAIN DUTIES:

Maintains Company’s cost records. Develops the company’s annual standard costs, and standard costs for new materials and products. Responsible for annual audit requests related to standard costs and performs monthly close responsibilities and account reconciliations. Prepares analysis of monthly Sales Gross Margin Mix analysis and with monthly manufacturing and materials variance analyses. Based in Lebanon with potential mission travels to Baghdad - Iraq

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Annual Standard Cost & Budget Development, and Ongoing New Materials and New Products Standard Cost Development:

• Develop raw and packaging materials standard costs, including freight and storage costs
• Partner with plant finance to establish direct labor standard costs
• Participate in developing semi-variable overhead standard costs
• Participate in allocating fixed overhead standard costs
• Calculate standard cost estimates for the Commercialization process
• Update and maintain ERP System cost records

MONTHLY COST ACCOUNTING RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Maintain cost accounting periods in ERP system
• Create cost records for new materials, intermediates, and finished goods
• Perform monthly standard cost rollup & analyze results
• Review standard costs periodically to ensure accuracy and propose updates as needed
• Prepare summary of inventory close posting to general ledger
• Prepare and submit cost related journal entries and accruals
• Prepare inventory reserve analysis
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts
• Prepare monthly Profit & Loss Statement
• Prepare month end analyses including Gross Sales Margin, and Material Price, Usage, and Waste Variances
• Prepare Costed BOMs
