Job Description

Cost Accounting main responsibility is to ensure the proper valuation of Rockwell Automation’s Worldwide Inventory and ensure the accuracy of individual plant manufacturing process transactions by managing activity and initiating corrective action. You would be reporting to a Team Leader.

Your Responsibilities:

• Weekly and monthly reports,
• Assist in month end close process,
• Support physical inventory audits,
• Global Biennial Cost Roll activities,
• Daily cost rolls on inventory materials for all SAP locations globally,
• Daily costing errors communication,
• Sales Order costing activities,
• Material Master data analysis and changes in the records affecting costing.

The Essentials - You Will Have:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Minimum of 3 years finance or related business experience.
• Strong analytical skills, systems acumen and critical thinking.
• Working knowledge of SAP or other ERP system.
• Excellent skills in English.
• Strong MS Office skills.
• Ability for periodic short-term travel to plants (2-4 times per year).
• Impeccable sense of business ethics
• Knowledge of Power BI will be an asset.
• Prior exposure to finance activities in an industrial manufacturing environment will be an asset.
