POSITION SUMMARY:

HunaTek is seeking candidates for contingent Junior Cost Analyst positions in support of the United States Army Tank-automotive and Armaments Command (TACOM). Ideal applicants are performance driven individuals with strong cost analysis experience to work closely with the Government client. Qualified candidates will have excellent communication, quantitative, research, and analytical skills.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

• US Citizenship is required.
• Active Secret Security Clearance.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to lead detail-oriented tasks and multi-task under minimal supervision.
• Ability to present analytical results to senior leaders/stakeholders.
• Ability to manage and work with large data sets.
• Possession of excellent data gathering and analytical skills.
• Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Preferred: Working knowledge of the Army Cost Analysis Manual, GAO Cost Estimating and Assessment Guide, DoD Instruction 5000.73 Cost Analysis Guidance and Procedures
• Preferred: Knowledge of the Department of Defense (DoD) Acquisition process.
• Preferred: Proficiency with Automated Cost Estimating Integrated Tools (ACEIT), Crystal Ball or SEER for IT.

EDUCATION, CERTIFICATIONS, AND EXPERIENCE:

• High School Degree and a minimum of three years’ experience in Government cost estimating, cost analysis, data analytics, or a combination of these areas.
• Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative discipline (e.g., economics, engineering, mathematics, operations research, statistics, or business).
• Preferred: Certified Cost Estimator/Analyst (CCEA®) or Professional Cost Estimator/Analyst (PCEA®) Certification.
