COST ANALYST

HunaTek is seeking highly motivated, performance-driven individuals with strong cost analysis experience to work on-site with our government client in the Central Florida Research Park area. Qualified candidates will have excellent communication, quantitative, research, and analytical skills.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

• US Citizenship is required.
• Active Secret Security Clearance or ability to obtain a Secret Security Clearance.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Proficiency with uncertainty/risk software packages.
• Knowledge of the Government Acquisition Programs.
• Ability to lead detail-oriented tasks and multi-task under minimal supervision.
• Ability to present analytical results to senior leaders/stakeholders.
• Ability to manage and work with large data sets.
• Possession of excellent data gathering and analytical skills.
• Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Preferred: Proficiency with Automated Cost Estimating Integrated Tools (ACEIT), Crystal Ball or SEER for IT.
• Preferred: Certified Cost Estimator/Analyst (CCEA®) or Professional Cost Estimator/Analyst (PCEA®) certification.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative discipline (e.g., economics, engineering, mathematics, operations research, statistics, or business).
• Five to eight years’ experience performing cost analyses, financial management, and acquisition experience for DoD, intelligence, or civil agency programs. Prior experience in Navy/Marine Corps sector is preferred.
• Prior experience supporting Government Acquisition Programs.
• Preferred: Prior experience supporting Department of Defense (DoD) Acquisition Programs (ACAT I-IV).
• Preferred: Prior financial management and program management experience.
