Job Description
BryceTech is currently looking for a Cost Analyst – Senior. This position will be supporting The U.S. Army Combat Capabilities Development Command, Chemical Biological Center, known as DEVCOM CBC. This role will develop life-cycle cost estimates and perform cost-risk analyses to support government leads.

The Person in this role will:

  • Develop and refine life-cycle cost estimates for major acquisition programs using parametric, analogy, and engineering methods.
  • Conduct detailed cost-risk analyses—simulations, sensitivity studies—to quantify uncertainty for decision makers.
  • Review cost proposals, auditing data, labor rates, and indirect cost rates to validate reasonableness.
  • Coordinate with technical, programmatic, and financial stakeholders to reconcile cost drivers and assumptions.
  • Prepare cost-position papers, negotiation support packages, and briefing charts for source-selection teams.
  • Maintain cost models and historical databases, updating them with actual cost data to improve estimate accuracy.
  • Track cost performance metrics—CPI, SPI—and advise leadership on trends and corrective actions.

Develop training materials and conduct workshops on cost-estimating techniques and regulatory compliance
Qualifications

The experience and certification requirements listed below are essential to successfully perform the tasks above:

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Finance, Economics, Cost Estimating, or related field; CCEA preferred.
  • Minimum of 7 years of cost analysis or estimating experience in defense or government environments.
  • Proficiency with cost-estimating software (SEER, @RISK) and advanced Excel skills.
  • Strong quantitative analysis, auditing, and reporting capabilities.
