Job Overview: We are looking for an experienced Cost and Scheduling Specialist to support our Business Development department in Iberia with high-level detail of the cost controlling budget, to better support the management of cost flow. In this role, we need support during the critical phase of project development and data estimation, which will determine the success of the projects. Please send your CV in English. Your responsibilities: Collaborate with internal teams to design or improve company tools and methodologies for cost control and project scheduling during the development phase. Ensure together with our internal teams that tools are user-friendly, aligned with industry best practices, and tailored to meet the specific needs of renewable energy projects under development by aligning on its functionalities with the needs of increasingly complex project setups. Identify gaps or inefficiencies in existing processes and proposing improvements to streamline workflows and enhance data accuracy. Train Development Project Managers (DPMs) on the use of cost control and scheduling tools, ensuring they fully understand their functionality and purpose. Provide clear documentation and guidelines to facilitate proper tool adoption and consistent usage across the team. Act as a point of contact for resolving questions or issues related to the tools and their application. Periodically review with DPMs how cost control and scheduling tools are being used to ensure compliance with company processes. Verify the accuracy and reliability of the data entered into these tools, identifying discrepancies or potential errors. Provide constructive feedback to DPMs to ensure continuous improvement in the use and quality of the tools. Leverage the tools to produce reliable cost and schedule reports, supporting Development Project Managers in identifying risks, deviations, or opportunities for optimization. Ensure that project planning and budgeting information is accurate and up-to-date, enabling better strategic decisions. Support the integration of hybrid technologies into the project planning tools, ensuring these configurations are reflected in cost and scheduling frameworks. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Development or a related field. Proven experience in project management needed, and considered a plus if within the renewable energy sector. Exceptional organizational skills with a detail-oriented approach and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Proficiency in both English and Spanish is required.
