JOB SUMMARY

We are looking for an experienced Cost Audit Engineer to join our Singapore team, managing cost control and audit activities for large-scale international power projects. You will be responsible for ensuring project cost efficiency, contractual compliance, and accurate settlements from start to finish.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or related field.
  • Minimum 8 years of cost auditing experience in power projects, including direct involvement in at least six 600MW+ coal-fired units.
  • Proficiency in national and power industry cost norms, cost estimation/pricing software (e.g., Glodon), and FIDIC contracts.
  • Skilled in BOQ preparation, cost estimation, and settlement negotiation.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • First-Class Cost Engineer certification or equivalent preferred; dual expertise in civil and installation works is an advantage.Willingness to travel for short-term project assignments.

Responsibilities
  • Lead project cost audit and control from feasibility studies to final settlement.
  • Review and approve progress payments, variation orders, material pricing, and claims.
  • Prepare and review Bills of Quantities (BOQs), control prices, and bid benchmarks.
  • Participate in subcontractor bidding, including quotation analysis and contract review.
  • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders for settlements, audits, and inspections.
  • Maintain accurate cost management and audit documentation.
  • Provide technical input on civil and installation works, construction processes, and market pricing.
