We’re Hiring: Cost Clerk Location: Dubai, UAE   Are you detail-oriented, analytical, and passionate about accuracy in cost control and workshop operations? Join Ali & Sons - Motors Division as a Cost Clerk, where you will play a key role in supporting workshop operations by managing job costing, workflow allocation, and invoicing processes. This role plays a key part in ensuring accurate cost calculations, efficient job distribution, and timely reporting to enhance overall after-sales performance.   Key Responsibilities: * Evaluate labour lines in service orders and split tasks into sub-jobs for proper allocation.  * Estimate job completion time and allocate work to technicians based on capacity.  * Calculate job costs upon completion and ensure accuracy of all cost elements.  * Prepare invoices, estimates, and proforma invoices for cash and contract service orders.  * Verify consumables, labour charges, and job details against system records.  * Update and amend job cards and invoices in the system to improve workflow efficiency.  * Monitor and report daily workshop performance metrics.  * Prepare incentive calculations and claim documentation.  * Maintain accurate data entry and ensure system records are up to date.  * Coordinate with Service Advisors to provide regular updates on job status.  * Report technical or safety-related issues to the Master Technician when identified.  * Follow company SOPs, maintain workplace organization, and adhere to health & safety standards.  * Perform additional duties as assigned by the Service Manager.   Qualifications & Experience * Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in any discipline.  * Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role within automotive after-sales or workshop operations.  * Basic proficiency in computer systems and data entry (ERP/workshop systems preferred).  * Good analytical and numerical skills with attention to detail.  * Strong coordination and communication skills.
