Exciting Opportunity: Join Ali & Sons as a Cost Clerk (After Sales Services) Are you detail-oriented, analytical, and passionate about accuracy in cost control and workshop operations? Join Ali & Sons – Motors Division as a Cost Clerk, where you will play a key role in estimating labour time, calculating job costs, preparing invoices, and supporting efficient workshop performance through precise financial and operational reporting. Based in Abu Dhabi, this full-time, permanent role offers the opportunity to work closely with the Service Manager, workshop teams, and service advisors in a fast-paced automotive after-sales environment. Key Responsibilities: • Evaluate labor and parts line items in service orders and split them into individual jobs and allocation sub-orders. • Estimate labour hours required for technicians to complete assigned tasks. • Monitor and compare estimated versus actual labour time. • Calculate job costs after completion of mechanical work. • Prepare invoices and job cost estimates accurately and within defined timelines. • Amend computerized job cards and invoices to improve workflow efficiency. • Verify invoices and related documents against system records for accuracy and compliance. • Prepare and arrange daily workshop performance and cost reports. • Compute technician incentives and prepare related claim documentation. • Enter all job cost, labor, and time-related data accurately into the system. • Perform other duties as assigned by the Service Manager. Role Purpose: To ensure accurate estimation, tracking, and control of workshop labor and job costs by maintaining reliable records of estimated and actual work hours, supporting efficient workshop operations and precise financial reporting. What We’re Looking For: • Education: Degree or Diploma in any discipline • Experience: Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in automotive after-sales, workshop operations. • Languages: Fluency in English is essential; Arabic is preferred • Software Skills: Strong computer literacy with experience in computerized accounting systems and office automation tools Why Join Ali & Sons?
