Job Description The Cost Control Analyst III will have a thorough understanding of preparing project labor and expense plans and forecasting through the use of accounting and project management systems. A strong ability to provide risk mitigation by alerting management of known and unknown risks on projects through proactively monitoring labor and expenses for assigned projects is required. Responsibilities Prepare project labor and expense plans Forecast through the use of accounting and project management systems Provide risk mitigation by alerting management of known and unknown risks on projects through proactively monitoring labor and expenses for assigned projects Demonstrate a thorough understanding of cost control policy, including internal processes and procedures Understand of cost control policy, including internal processes and procedures Routinely conversing with the cost control team as well as the Project Director/ Manager, design and/or field staff while conveying and reinforcing these processes and procedures Qualifications Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or related field Minimum of eight years of related experience Additional Qualifications Works well within a team-oriented environment Excellent understanding of general accounting standards and principles Expert understanding of design and/or construction accounting practices Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite Excellent listening and communication skills Technically strong with labor and cost planning and forecasting Demonstrated ability to provide risk mitigation strategies to projects in a proactive and timely way.
