Responsibilities:
Under the supervision of the Cost Control Manager, the incumbent will provide support to project teams and analyze monthly results.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with the standards established when projects are opened;
- Collaborate with project managers to establish budget structures;
- Participate in and analyze monthly cost controls received from project managers;
- Ensure the integrity and conformity of revenues and actual costs declared on projects on a monthly basis;
- Train new employees on cost control tools and procedures;
- Participate in continuous improvement within the department;
- Analyze and ensure the integrity of monthly closing cost controls, including inter-divisional transactions;
- Contribute to the monitoring of risks and opportunities, and discuss major deviations with the manager;
- Take the lead in including administrative teams in project start-ups and resolving issues to ensure smooth administrative running of projects;
- Set up and train new projects for Borea USA;
- Report to the cost control manager any discrepancies or major problems identified during the cost control review;
- Be actively involved in the development of new analysis tools and coordinate their implementation while providing training to users (Dashboard sisense and others);
- Participate in the preparation of files for external auditors at the end of the year;
- Work closely with the cost control team from coast to coast;
- Provide regional service according to company standards;
- Establish an appropriate cost control structure for stewardship projects, in collaboration with project managers, assisting them in the creation of the initial structure.
