The Cost Control Engineer plays a critical role in ensuring BESIX delivers complex, high‑value projects on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. In an industry where margins are tight and project scopes evolve rapidly, effective cost control is essential to project success and long-term client satisfaction. What You'll Drive Cost Estimation: Analyze project specifications and drawings to determine the total cost of a project and prepare detailed cost estimates in close collaboration with project team. Budget Management: Maintain project budgets, monitor expenditures, and ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures. Cost Tracking: Track actual spending against the budget/ Forecast, analyze cost ledgers, identify cost variances, and suggest corrective actions to keep projects on track. Reporting: Prepare project cost reports and submit to the project management and stakeholders. Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to gather data, verify project progress, and implement cost control measures. Cost-Saving Initiatives: Identify and recommend cost-saving opportunities and best practices to enhance project profitability and efficiency. Risk Assessment: Work Closely with planning team and assess the Risk and Opportunities.
