Description
Prepare detailed work budget/value engineering/budget scenarios. Accountable for project budget and cost control services for medium size projects. Responsible for timely preparation of detailed accurate Forecast cost on monthly / weekly intervals. Assist Sr. Cost Control Engineer/BCM to deliver thorough, independent and complete Cost Control Reports for ongoing Projects. Ensure the accuracy and integrity of data, correctness of cost allocation, analysis of cost/earn value trends Collect all relevant needed information (Tender budget, Progress, Actual data etc.) from the Estimators, Reporting/Planning engineers, Project manager, and from Finance department etc. Process and analyse all gathered data into project control software (InEight) and create budget forecast. Timely preparation of budget reports, analysis of trends, comparison with Cost, earn value, explanation of variances. Regularly visit project site, coordinate and consult with project management team, inform them of critical issues. Assign and approve Budget for PR / IR, as per approved Work Budget. Ensure gathered date and Budget information is maintained and knowledge is transferred to estimation and commercial department. Budget reports preparation, support of Sr. Cost Control Engineer/BCM in ongoing projects and non-routine activities. Identify the Risks, opportunities & assumptions made within the Work budget
