The Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Cost Control Manager to join our dynamic construction team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing cost management processes, ensuring projects are delivered within budget while maintaining high-quality standards. This role requires strong analytical skills, collaboration across departments, and a proactive approach to cost optimization in a fast-paced construction environment. Responsibilities: - Develop and implement cost control procedures and policies to monitor project expenditure. - Prepare detailed cost estimates, budgets, and forecasts for construction projects. - Analyze project costs and identify areas for cost reduction and efficiency improvement. - Collaborate with project managers, procurement, and finance teams to ensure accurate cost reporting and budget adherence. - Monitor and report on cost performance, providing timely updates to senior management. - Conduct risk assessments related to project costs and develop mitigation strategies. - Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal controls. - Lead the cost control team and provide training to enhance skills and knowledge.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Finance, or related field. - Minimum of 10 years of experience in cost control within the construction industry. - Strong knowledge of cost control software and project management tools. - Excellent analytical and numerical skills with a keen eye for detail. - Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively across teams. - Proactive problem-solving skills and ability to make data-driven decisions. - Familiarity with UAE construction laws, regulations, and market conditions is highly desirable.
