Job Summary We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Cost Controller Accountant to support our finance team in monitoring, reviewing, and optimizing company expenses. The role involves in-depth analysis of all cost lines across departments, identifying inefficiencies, and recommending actionable insights to enhance profitability. The ideal candidate will combine strong financial analysis skills with a business mindset to ensure every cost is justified, optimized, and aligned with company objectives. The vacancy is off shore based in favor off Samir Group - KSA Key Responsibilities Review all expense lines on a monthly basis and prepare detailed variance analyses versus budget and prior periods. Identify cost inefficiencies and propose optimization initiatives to management. Work closely with department heads to understand cost drivers and validate expense justifications. Develop and maintain cost tracking models to ensure accuracy and transparency in reporting. Support the Head of Finance and CFO with reports highlighting trends, cost-saving opportunities, and risk areas. Assist in the preparation of the monthly and quarterly management reports. Ensure adherence to company policies, budgets, and cost-control procedures. Participate in forecasting and budgeting exercises, providing input based on expense trends and analysis. Track approved cost optimization initiatives and measure realized savings. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics 3–5 years of experience in cost control, FP&A, or financial analysis. Strong analytical and Excel / financial modeling skills. Excellent attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines. Strong communication and presentation skills — able to translate numbers into actionable business insights. Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or QuickBooks) is an advantage. Key Competencies Analytical and structured thinking. Cost consciousness and business acumen.
