GENERAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related fields.
  • At least 2 years of experience in cost controlling and financial analysis.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and oral communication in English.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCES & SKILLS

  • Proven experience in project cost control, financial reporting and budget planning.
  • Knowledge of financial analysis methodologies and cost management best practices.
  • Ability to manage complex financial data and provide meaningful insights for decision-making.
  • Proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, and variance analysis.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems and financial reporting tools.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
Responsibilities

As a Cost Controller, you will be responsible for monitoring and managing project costs, ensuring budget compliance, and optimizing resource utilization to minimize financial risks and maximize project profitability.

The activities will include (but are not limited to):

  • Collaborating with key stakeholders to define economic proposals in response to government and commercial customers’ requests for offers (RDO/ITT).
  • Supporting the Project Manager (PM) in monitoring project costs throughout all phases, from material procurement to final testing, identifying deviations from the budget that may require corrective actions.
  • Assisting in budget planning for each project and providing tools to update periodic project forecasts, considering progress, timing, and cost variations.
  • Interfacing with Procurement and the PM to define and monitor project cash flow.
  • Supporting the Finance team in assessing project profitability and evaluating cost-revenue alignment.
  • Producing detailed reports, highlighting cost variations and suggesting efficiency improvements.
  • Identifying cost reduction and process optimization opportunities, promoting standardization initiatives to enhance financial competitiveness.
  • Working closely with Program Management, Engineering, Procurement, and Production teams to ensure an integrated cost perspective and support data-driven decision-making.
