MISSION

We are looking for an experienced Cost Controller who will be responsible for the preparation of accurate monthly cost control reports, revised budgets as required, earned value, and comparison with budget. The Cost Controller will take responsibility for the assigned scope and work with internal stakeholders to ensure the project stays on budget, and that all discrepancies are identified in a timely manner and steps are taken to resolve and correct.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Construction Management or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of related project controls experience in complex design/construction heavy civil projects.
  • Basic engineering knowledge/understanding.
  • Proficient PC skills including a proficiency in Project Controls Software and Microsoft Office Suite, superior Excel skills, JDE.
  • Ability to negotiate the terrain of an in-process construction site, including climbing stairs and ladders, steep/ slippery terrain, walking, and working outdoors in all types of Edmonton weather and conditions.
