JOB TITLE: COST CONTROLLER – INTERIOR FIT-OUT CONTRACTING

Location: Abu Dhabi / Dubai, UAE
Industry: Interior Fit-Out & Joinery Contracting
Experience: Minimum 5 years in UAE/GCC fit-out projects

JOB SUMMARY:

The Cost Controller will oversee all financial aspects of interior fit-out projects, ensuring cost efficiency, accurate budgeting, and profitability. The role requires strong market knowledge of UAE pricing, subcontractor/vendor negotiation skills, and hands-on experience in cost tracking, procurement, and financial reporting for high-end fit-out projects.

REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or Finance.
  • Experience: 5+ years in cost control within UAE/GCC interior fit-out/joinery contracting.
  • Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in CostX, Planswift, AutoCAD (for BOQ extraction), and MS Excel (advanced).
  • Familiarity with FIDIC contracts and fit-out project lifecycle.
  • Market Knowledge:
  • Strong awareness of UAE material pricing, subcontractor rates, and procurement practices.
  • Soft Skills:
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines with attention to detail.
