The Opportunity We are seeking an experienced Cost Controller to join our Transmission & Utilities team in Rivervale. This role is critical in providing accurate cost management, reporting and forecasting across site‑based contracts, ensuring projects are delivered with strong financial control and transparency. Working closely with the Project Controls Manager and Project Controls Engineer, you will contribute to high‑quality cost reporting, forecasting, invoicing and project performance insights, while fostering a strong safety‑first culture. Key Responsibilities: Provide accurate cost management, reporting and forecasting for site contracts Maintain integrity and alignment across cost reporting and financial systems Prepare and update project progress reports, forecasts and cashflow Record month‑end project positions, including revenue, cost and margin Review client invoicing, manage debt status and respond to invoice queries Allocate payments and ensure compliance with contractual invoice terms Produce daily workforce reporting Support audits, cost estimates, budgets and management presentations Requirements to be successful: 3-5 yeas’ experience in project controls Strong working knowledge of SAP Experience using FSM is highly regarded Sound knowledge of project cost control, forecasting and reporting processes Strong attention to detail and data accuracy using Microsoft Excel Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and competing priorities Well-developed written and verbal communication skills Why UGL Competitive remuneration package.
