Description du poste The Cost Engineer is responsible for end-to-end cost esƟmaƟon, benchmarking, supplier quote evaluaƟon, negoƟaƟon support, and cost opƟmizaƟon of automoƟve components across assigned commodiƟes. The role works cross-funcƟonally with Engineering, Procurement, Manufacturing, Finance, and Suppliers to ensure compeƟƟve and opƟmized product cost throughout the lifecycle. Commodity Focus: SeaƟng System / Interior / Exterior / Hard Trims / SoŌ Trims / PlasƟcs / Glazing / Instrument Panel (IP) / Center Console / Door Trim  Cost Estimaton & Breakdown  Prepare detailed should-cost models using:  Raw material costng (PP, ABS, PC, steel, aluminum, foam, fabric, glass, etc.)  Process cosƟng (Injection molding, blow molding, thermoforming, stamping, welding, painƟng, assembly)  Tooling cost (Molds, dies, fixtures, jigs)  Overhead & margin modeling  Conduct weight-based and feature-based cost calculaƟons using CAD data.  Use 3D models in Siemens NX for:  Volume calculaton  Thickness study  Feature complexity assessment  Maintain cost databases and commodity benchmarks. Supplier Quote Analysis  Analyze supplier RFQ submissions.  Compare:  Material price variance  Process assumpƟons  Cycle time  Tool amortization  Localization benefits  Prepare gap analysis between:  Supplier quote vs Should cost  Present findings to procurement for negoƟaƟon strategy.  ʥ Negotiation & Procurement Support  Provide cost breakdown logic during supplier negociations Qualifications BE / B.Tech in Mechanical or Automotive Engineering Minimum 5+ years of experience in the Automotive industry Experience with SAP / Teamcenter Preferred experience in OEM companies Ability to work onsite Availability for Regular Day Shift (Sunday to Thursday) Contrat/Pays: CDI Famille de métier: Chantier - Industrialisation
