About the role We are currently looking for a Cost Estimator who is responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates and financial analyses for railway and civil infrastructure projects in accordance with project requirements and FIDIC-based ICB contract standards. The role includes assessing market conditions, material and manpower costs, and construction equipment operation costs to support effective project planning and budgeting. The Cost Estimator also supports construction activities by reviewing structural works, inspecting precast member fabrication and assembly, assisting in resolving technical issues, and conducting technical audits to ensure compliance with design, specifications, and quality standards. Key Responsibilities: Conduct market surveys to collect updated information on material prices, labor rates, and construction equipment operation costs. Collaborate with the Construction Planner to analyze resource requirements and cost trends for project implementation. Prepare and maintain cost databases and reports to support accurate project estimation and budgeting. Review previous studies, pay items, and unit rate analyses related to project cost estimates. Verify the accuracy and consistency of quantities, rates, and cost assumptions used in earlier estimates. Analyze unit rates for individual pay items based on project drawings, specifications, and cost data. Prepare and structure BOQ pay items in coordination with the Contract/Procurement Specialist. Assist in preparing and compiling cost estimates, BOQ, and technical inputs for bidding documents. Review tender requirements and ensure all cost-related information aligns with project specifications and client standards. About You: Graduation in Civil Engineering; 10 years of professional experience as a cost estimator in Civil infrastructure project; At least two (02) railway project experience as Cost Estimator; minimum two (02) experiences in FIDIC-based ICB contracts as a cost estimator; We value equity, diversity and inclusion and are committed to creating a work environment where everyone feels a sense of belonging and is empowered to do their best.
