Power Transformer Cost Estimator Summary: To collect and analyze data to estimate the time, money, materials, and labor required to manufacture a product, or provide a service. Communicate with sales, operations, and the customer for updates during the bid phase & works closely with the Project Manager to incorporate project review feedback into future projects. Cost Estimator Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Work with sales teams to prepare estimates and bids for clients. Review of customer specifications & required bid documents. Preparing weekly and monthly reports. Supporting sales efforts with marketing programs. Maintaining client records. Read blueprints and technical documents to prepare estimates. Collaborate with engineers, clients, purchasing and contractors on estimates. Recommend ways to make a product more cost effective or profitable. Requirements Project Manager Qualifications: Associates degree or 5 years of experience.
