Job Description We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cost Lead to join our team in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. As a Cost Lead, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and managing all aspects of cost estimation, budgeting, and financial analysis for our projects. This position requires a strategic thinker with strong analytical skills and the ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams. Develop and implement cost management strategies to ensure project financial success Lead the preparation of detailed cost estimates for complex projects Analyze and interpret financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities Create and maintain project budgets, forecasts, and cash flow projections Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to optimize project costs Conduct variance analyses and provide recommendations for cost control measures Oversee the development and maintenance of cost databases and historical cost information Prepare and present comprehensive cost reports to senior management Mentor and guide junior team members in cost management practices Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in cost management Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Finance, Economics, or related field Minimum 15 years of experience in cost management or related field Professional certifications such as CCP (Certified Cost Professional) or PMP (Project Management Professional) preferred Proven expertise in cost estimation, budgeting, and financial analysis Strong proficiency in cost management software (e.g., Oracle Primavera, MS Project) and advanced Excel skills Experience in large-scale projects, preferably in construction, engineering, or manufacturing industries Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail Strong leadership and communication abilities to effectively manage teams and interact with stakeholders Knowledge of industry-specific cost drivers and trends Familiarity with local and international cost standards and regulations Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment Excellent organizational and time management skills Business Line: Transportation Type of contract: Permanent contract Service Line: Urban Transport and Urban Development Region: Middle East and South Asia Job Family: zz-DoNotUse-Digital, Information and Technology Profession: zz-DoNotUse-Contract management
