ABOUT YOU: SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Ability to work full time (40 hours/week)
  • Bachelor/Master degree (or pending degree with only the final exam outstanding) in Finance & Accounting, Economics, Business or equivalent
  • Relevant at least 1 year full time work experience is required (not internship), in the areas of AP/AR or accounting
  • Strong, proven understanding of the fundamentals of accounting
  • Fluent English knowledge is a must
  • Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Precision and attention to details, ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
  • Can-do attitude, willingness to take initiative and seek challenges
  • Ability to influence others and work in a team environment
  • Good communication, collaboration, and coordination skills
  • Interest in digital innovation and continuous improvement

Responsibilities

WHAT ROLE WILL YOU PLAY IN OUR TEAM

  • Our Cost Management organization is supporting ExxonMobil’s external financial and internal stewardship reporting and analysis by ensuring that business transactions are properly recorded, validated, and reported in the financial statements of ExxonMobil affiliates
  • Our colleagues are responsible for accounting for transactions associated with intra and inter-affiliate cost allocations, service billings, netting and settlements

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Specialized in accounting for intercompany and cost accounting, accounting for special business events and monthly/quarterly/annual financial close activities
  • Reconcile and investigate billing and cost allocation queries for prompt resolution
  • Support regional Treasury Center to ensure all inter-affiliate financing transactions properly reflected in the books
  • Prepare and analyze monthly and quarterly key performance indicators
  • Build knowledge on end-to-end process business processes
  • Support local and global process improvement initiatives
