Role Description As a Cost Manager in our Lenders & Investors division, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality cost management services to support financial stakeholders. Your role will involve independent assessment and monitoring of project costs to safeguard clients’ investments, ensuring transparency and control throughout the project lifecycle. Key Accountabilities * Develop, review, and manage detailed cost plans, budgets, and forecasts for construction and development projects. * Perform independent valuations and cost assessments to inform lenders and investors. * Monitor expenditure, identify cost risks, and recommend mitigation strategies. * Liaise effectively with project teams, contractors, and financial stakeholders to ensure accurate cost reporting. * Prepare clear and concise financial reports and presentations for clients. * Ensure compliance with contractual, regulatory, and financial requirements. * Support due diligence, feasibility studies, and investment appraisals with accurate cost data. * Manage multiple projects concurrently, maintaining high standards of accuracy and professionalism. Qualifications & Experience * Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related discipline. * Professional accreditation (e.g., MRICS) strongly preferred. * Significant experience as a Cost Manager or Quantity Surveyor within construction, infrastructure, or property sectors. * Demonstrated knowledge of lender and investor requirements in project financing and cost control. * Strong understanding of procurement, contract administration, and risk management. * Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills. * Proven ability to work independently and manage diverse projects within deadlines. * Knowledge of Irish construction market and regulatory environment is essential.
