Role Overview We are seeking a Cost Manager specializing in pre-tender estimates to join our team. This role involves leading cost management activities for commercial, real estate, industrial, and retail projects from concept through completion, with a focus on developing comprehensive cost plans, budgets, and pre-contract estimates. Responsibilities: Perform accurate and efficient take-offs for cost estimation purposes Prepare budget and pre-contract cost estimates at various project stages Develop comprehensive cost plans and budgets for diverse project types Create detailed cost vision reports and forecasting analyses Prepare Bills of Quantities and pre-tender cost estimates Conduct tender evaluation and prepare evaluation reports Review and negotiate pricing with contractors Prepare contract documents and review costings against budgets Participate in project cost reporting processes Attend site meetings and design team meetings as required Lead and mentor junior team members and graduates Represent the company professionally in all client and stakeholder interactions Qualifications Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Civil, Architectural, Electrical, Mechanical Engineering or equivalent Associate/Member RICS or in process preferred 7 - 10 years of experience Demonstrated experience in the Real Estate sector Experience in construction, fit-out and/or renovation projects preferred Middle East experience advantageous but not essential Excellent pre and post-contract cost and commercial management skills Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office Experience with cost estimation software (CostX, Plan Swift, Bluebeam, or Candy) advantageous Strong IT-based solutions knowledge and application Location: On-site –Cairo, EGY If this job description resonates with you, we encourage you to apply even if you don’t meet all of the requirements.
