Please visit our website: www.turnerandtownsend.com Job Description Turner & Townsend is seeking a Construction Estimator to join our talented team. The ideal individual will be a strong communicator, collaborative team player, and possess a solid foundation in both estimating and construction cost management. Responsibilities Developing cost plans and estimates from concept through detailed design. Supporting client land acquisitions. Delivering and presenting updated cost plans at appropriate design milestones. Reviewing proposed design changes and new technologies and preparing estimates within appropriate accuracy levels. Understanding design stages and estimate levels. Providing commercial input to design optioneering and value engineering exercises. Preparing cash commit forecasts for the construction lifecycle. Working collaboratively with stakeholders in the preparation of estimates and cost plans. Analyzing labor markets and cost drivers such as unions and taxes. Supporting clients with monthly cost reporting and presentations. Delivering Life Cycle Costing models. Benchmarking integration to ensure accurate data capture. Managing and monitoring project costs throughout the project lifecycle, including budget development, cost tracking, forecasting, change management, and cost reporting. SOX control responsibilities may be part of this role and must be adhered to where applicable. Qualifications Advanced level of English required, as the candidate will be working with international clients. Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Cost Management, Quantity Surveying, Engineering, or another construction-related field. Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience. Demonstrated experience in construction cost management is required, including budget management, cost forecasting, cost control, change management, and financial reporting on construction projects. Experience working in construction cost management roles such as Estimator, Cost Engineer, Project Engineer, Project Controls Engineer, Quantity Surveyor, or Project Cost Controls. Experience supporting program-level cost management for medium- to large-scale construction projects. Strong understanding of construction industry technical matters, including value management and value engineering. Thrives in a client-facing environment.
