Job Description Commercial Management: Work collaboratively with the APAC Regional Cost Lead to oversee the commercial aspects of all projects in the region, including special lease projects. Ensure financial and contractual protection across all special projects including lease project in APAC Project Oversight and Support: Manage all commercial issues on current, future, and past projects, reporting regularly to the APAC Regional Cost Lead. Provide commercial management support for ITIMs and APAC Cost Lead, including liaison with the procurement office on RFP documents, estimates, change orders, and funding requests. Vendor and Resource Management: Commercially manage all program vendors, presenting proposals for purchase order approval, approving invoices, and ensuring final financial closeout. Manage resources allocated to projects in cost and contractual perspective. Provide cost-related advice to the site selection team/SAP team for lease contracts Cost Reporting and Support • Work with ITIMS, General Contractor (GC), Lease Provider (LP), and project controls to ensure the availability of comprehensive cost reports and proceed in all financial matter including Purchase Agreement approval. • Support the PER (funding) team by providing commercial assistance for funding intervals, including the production of multiple-option cost scenarios. Additional Responsibilities Responsible for total cost management of projects delivering positive outcomes for our clients, demonstrating leadership and coaching to Graduate CM, and innovation of service and knowledge. Carry out cost management and contract administration duties with reasonable supervision and guidance Provide Cost Advice and Cost Planning including estimate, comparative design studies, life cycle costing, turnover/cash flow projections, cost control and cost report during pre-contract period Responsibility for making cost checks and carrying out valuations on larger projects and in all cases ensuring that timely and accurate cost checking and valuation takes place Possesses cost management experience in Data Centre space Responsible for total cost management of projects delivering positive outcomes for our clients, demonstrating leadership and coaching to Graduate CM, and innovation of service and knowledge. Carry out cost management and contract administration duties with reasonable supervision and guidance Lead Cost Manager for new built project Provide Cost Advice and Cost Planning including estimate, comparative design studies, life cycle costing, turnover/cash flow projections, cost control and cost report during pre-contract period. To run the procurement process from all stages in pre-qualification such as quotation enquiry, analysis, selection and contract preparation Process improvement – Identifying ways in which internal systems and processes can be improved and referring ideas to the appropriate line manager Additional Information Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree of Quantity Surveying or equivalent with minimum 7-12 years’ experience in related fields. Registered with Board of Surveyor, member of RISM and RICS or Bachelor's Degree of Quantity Surveying Strong stakeholder management skills Excellent technical knowledge and experience across the full range of Cost Management duties including: Cost Estimates, Bills of Quantities, Value Engineering, Tendering and Evaluation, Contract Knowledge, Change Orders and Final Account close-out Candidates with experience in High tech manufacturing / life sciences project industrial, data centers, infrastructure, retail fit out, mixed development, public sector, and corporate end user/ banking/office experience are preferred. Experience from consultancy background, well versed in civil, structure, and architecture (CSA).
