Job Description: Responsibilities: Review construction drawings, floor plans, and basic cost information. Learn measurement units and how to calculate material quantities for different building systems. Learn the fundamentals and background of cost segregation, including the purpose and benefits of performing such studies. Help identify different parts of a building that may qualify for accelerated depreciation. Perform simple tax depreciation calculations with guidance from senior team members. Learn templates for both property purchase and new construction projects. Learn tools and software commonly used in cost segregation work. Prepare workpapers and schedules to support cost segregation reports. Assist with report preparation and help present findings to staff, seniors, and managers. Qualifications: Pursuing or holding a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Attention to detail and the ability to manage tasks effectively. Knowledge in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
