About this Role Full Time Onsite: 3500 Colonnade Pkwy, Birmingham, Alabama 35243 Quanta Infrastructure Solutions Group (QISG), a division of Quanta Services, provides turnkey Engineering/Procurement/Construction (EPC) solutions for utility-scale Power Generation projects across North America. We’re driven by safety, innovation, and execution excellence. We’re seeking a Cost Specialist to lead cost control and forecasting on major EPC and industrial projects valued at $500M+. This role partners closely with project managers and executives to ensure financial accuracy, drive cost efficiency, and mentor junior team members. What You'll Do Lead cost management, reporting, and forecasting for large-scale EPC and power generation projects. Monitor budgets, analyze variances, and advise leadership on financial performance and risk. Develop and maintain detailed cost reports in Excel and Power BI. Support audits, ensure compliance with financial policies, and champion continuous improvement in cost processes. Mentor and train junior cost analysts. What You'll Bring · 3+ years of experience in cost control or project controls within the construction or infrastructure sector. · Proficiency in Excel, Power BI, and cost management software (EcoSys, JDE, Procore). · Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. · Excellent communication and collaboration abilities. · Bachelor’s degree in related field (e.g., Finance, Construction Management, Engineering) or equivalent experience.
