Core Responsibilities Target Cost Management: Develop executable project target costs based on design plans and cost benchmarks. Full-cycle Cost Control: Manage design/tender/contract costs; review design budgets, tender BOQs (Bills of Quantities), and cost control documents. Real-time Cost & Settlement: Monitor site progress payments and variation orders; lead end-to-end dynamic cost monitoring and final accounts. Cost Analysis & Optimization: Produce cost performance reports and benchmark databases; propose technical cost-optimization solutions. New Market Expansion Support: Build cost models for new markets using localized data to support business decisions. Advanced Competencies (AI/Tech Adaptation) Tech-Savvy Insight: Understand cost drivers of core data center technologies (e.g., liquid cooling, HVDC, modular design). AI Tools Proficiency: Utilize AI-powered tools (e.g., automated QTO, BIM-based validation) to optimize workflow. Computing Infrastructure Cost: Analyze cost structures of AI computing facilities (e.g., GPU power/cooling cost models). Data-Driven Decision Making: Build predictive cost algorithms with historical data to update company benchmarks. Qualifications Education: Bachelor’s degree or above in Quantity Surveying, Construction Economics, or MEP Engineering. Experience: 5+ years in data center or complex infrastructure costing; professional certification (e.g., Chinese Cost Engineer, RICS/CIOB preferred). Skills: Proficient in industry software (Glodon/CostX) and BIM model review; fluent English/Chinese (for intl. tenders & cross-border teams). DayOne is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
