I am currently working with a leading Legal 500 law firm who are seeking an experienced Costs Draftsperson or Costs Lawyer or Billing Assistant to join their award winning Family team at their Croydon office.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a well respected firm who are regularly recommended by Chambers and Partners and the Legal 500 directory to their services in Family law. You will be dealing with costs work relating to Family Law. This role can be tailored depending on the level of your experience.

REQUIRED:

  • You will be a Billing Assistant or Legal Secretary/Paralegal with at least 12 months Costs experience (preferably with exposure to Family Law, but other experience considered.
  • OR you will be a Costs Lawyer or Draftsperson looking for a new challenge.
  • Ability to manage your own workload, with excellent project management skills and ability to work to deadlines.
  • MUST have experience dealing with Legal Aid Agency Client and Cost Management System (CCMS), as well as Costsmaster software.
  • Demonstrate initiative and self-sufficiency.
  • Excellent communication skills, written and spoken.
