Are you an experienced Costs Draftsman looking for a new challenge? Do you have a strong background in drafting bills of costs, budgets and schedules for a variety of legal matters? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join a leading national law firm as part of their costs team.
As a Costs Draftsman, you will be responsible for preparing and negotiating costs on behalf of the firm and its clients. You will work on a range of cases, including personal injury, clinical negligence, commercial litigation and public law. You will also liaise with fee earners, clients and opponents to ensure the best possible outcome for each matter.
To be considered for this role, you will need to have at least two years of experience as a Costs Draftsman, preferably within a large or medium-sized law firm. You will also need to have excellent communication, negotiation and IT skills, as well as a keen attention to detail and accuracy. You will be able to work independently and as part of a team, and manage your own workload effectively.
