Description POSITION SUMMARY The costume generalist will work as part of a collaborative team to achieve the director and designer’s vision to the highest production value possible in a timely manner. This position assists the Draper and First Hand in the construction of all new costumes and the alteration of stock costumes for each production, as needed. Major Duties and Responsibilities Include: Sew assigned costumes by hand or machine Assist in fitting, stitching, or other assigned costume duties Maintain and alter costumes as assigned Actively participate in creating a clean, safe, and healthy work environment Participate in educational and outreach events Other duties as assigned SCHEDULE This is a part-time, non-exempt seasonal position. There is no set schedule for the position, those selected will work with the Costume Director to determine hours when the costume shop requires assistance.
