Job Description We are seeking a highly organised and detail‑oriented Cotton Purchase admin coordinator to support the day‑to‑day operations of our Cotton Administration Team. This role plays a critical part in ensuring seamless administrative support for Origination staff, delivering exceptional customer service to growers, gins, classers, and internal teams. You will be responsible for accurate contract and data processing, ensuring compliance with purchase requirements, and contributing to the overall efficiency of our cotton purchasing operations. This is a 6-month fixed term contract. Key Responsibilities (include but not limited to): Validate and process purchase contracts, bale data, P&D schedules and amendments Check accuracy of paperwork and ensure contract conditions are met Liaise with gins, classers, Origination, Logistics, Trading and IT teams Prepare daily purchase reports, assist with queries, and support month‑end adjustments Monitor system data, identify issues, and work with IT on improvements Qualifications Essential Skills & Experience: Demonstrated high‑level administrative and organisational capabilities. Strong computer skills, particularly across Microsoft Office applications. High attention to detail and accuracy. Knowledge of gin/valley delivery points. Ability to type accurately and work within tight timelines. Fast learner with the ability to quickly understand industry systems. Basic understanding of data files (CSV, Notepad). Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with staff and clients. Ability to work well under pressure and manage time effectively. Approachable, well‑organised, and flexible in dealing with changing priorities. Desired (Not Essential) Previous experience and strong understanding of the cotton industry Exposure to grower services, purchasing, supply chain, or agricultural operations. Familiarity with contract management processes.
