JOB DESCRIPTION

The University of Washington (UW) is proud to be one of the nation’s premier educational and research institutions. Our people are the most important asset in our pursuit of achieving excellence in education, research and community service. Our staff not only enjoys outstanding benefits and professional growth opportunities, but also an environment noted for diversity, community involvement, intellectual excitement, artistic pursuits, and natural beauty.
As a UW employee, you have a unique opportunity to change lives on our campuses, in our state and around the world. UW employees offer their boundless energy, creative problem-solving skills, and dedication to build stronger minds and a healthier world.
The UW’s Michael G. Foster School of Business ranks among the top business schools in the United States. Founded in 1917, the School has graduated more than 50,000 alumni. Each year about 3,000 students enroll in our undergraduate and graduate programs, and over 1,000 participate in Executive Education. In all our programs, we are committed to delivering a transformational learning experience. Under Dean Frank Hodge, our mantra is “Better Together, Better Tomorrow”, highlighting our belief in creating an inclusive community committed to improving all of society through business and business education. We are continually revising our curriculum to make it more relevant to the real world of business and the challenge of managing in a global economy driven by technological change. With our many corporate partners in the Seattle area—a region known for its entrepreneurial spirit and leading companies like EY, Microsoft, Starbucks, Boeing, Nordstrom, Costco and Amazon.com—we can offer our students exceptional opportunities to learn from many of the world’s most successful companies.
