ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Counsellor/Educator, you will play a key role in delivering individual and group support services to individuals experiencing alcohol and other drug (AOD) issues, mental health concerns, or other life challenges. Your work will focus on providing evidence-based interventions and education programs in a supportive, trauma-informed framework.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Deliver counselling and therapeutic support to clients
• Facilitate educational programs and group sessions
• Conduct assessments and create individualised treatment plans
• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team and external stakeholders
• Maintain accurate case notes and reporting in line with HOPE’s standards
